How pages in another language — including right-to-left scripts — are announced to browsers and assistive technology. Each child page below is written in its own language.

A page can be written in a language other than the site's. When it is, the site announces the content's own language and text direction so browsers hyphenate correctly and screen readers switch voice. The example pages below are each written in their own language: Arabic reads right-to-left, Italian left-to-right.
